QUARTIER LOCALE

"One of the few places that exceeded expectations. A great two-week visit. Glorious house blissfully appointed. We never stopped talking and having fun."

"What a fabulous two weeks we have spent at Le Pastoureau. We particularly enjoyed going to the night market at Lavardens and visiting the fortified village at Larressingle where the children had fun watching and taking part in the demonstration of armoury. Much time was spent enjoying the pool and the peaceful surroundings. The house is so lovely and beautifully decorated and we hope to come back again."

"The children loved catching baby frogs, playing boules and table tennis and chasing each other around the garden and there was not a boring moment. The little ones never seemed to wear any clothes - they had to be forced into them for the photo. Despite the searing heat, the house remained relatively cool and we all slept well thanks to the electric fans. The night markets and the lake were a big hit, too."

"A very hot fortnight spent at Le Pastoureau, great visits to the lake, golf at Fleurance and Auch Embats and cultural visits to the cathedral. Until next time!
What a wonderful place. Beautiful countryside, quiet and so comfortable. We had a really great time, extended by the French strike but tant pis. Great company, great food and drink and lovely outings. Sorry to miss the Irish pub but next time?"

Rien a redire!

"I felt very privileged to be your first guest at Le P. I was amazed how beautiful and tranquil it was, and I make no apology that we were not very adventurous. The weather was great, happy to be in a car only on the cooler day and while the pool may be heating up this week, I suspect it may be a little warm for me this week!"

"Nobody in my family had been to that part of France before (we have done other parts of the south) but we really fell in love with it. The house is in such a beautiful position – you can’t help but relax.
We’ve had the most amazing week thank you - the house is beautiful and the children have loved the pool and playing hide and seek outside!! The beds are so comfortable too!"

"A short and sweet stay at Le Pastoureau, if only I could have stayed longer! A beautifully designed home, stunning countryside and can’t wait to go back to be surrounded by sunflowers, the chorus of frogs, hoots from the night owls with a glass of vino in hand"

"Le Pastoureau is set is idyllic tranquil countryside with barely a discernible noise other than nature to disturb you. The house is incredibly well equipped from the dining room to thoughtful converter plugs throughout. Comfort is key to this wonderful house - deep sofa’s to sink into with a good book and the beds and linen that give you the chance to properly relax and have a truly restorative sleep….for me, it was some of the best sleep in years!

Great wi-fi keeps everyone very happy, but the pool is the jewel in the crown: a really decent size and temperature for everyone to enjoy all day long …and enough space for the squeals of games and delight not to disturb anyone else!

The only problem we encountered was that the bread from the local boulangerie left us with a serious addiction by the end of our stay! We have no hesitation in recommending Le Pastoureau for a family holiday or gathering of friends and cannot wait to return ourselves."
